Spring

The route conditions are updated, but there was little new to report.

As far as we are aware, there was only one winter ascent of Mount Rainier in the 2005/2006. That was Hannah Carrigan's solo climb of the Nisqually Icecliff. There have been winters when no one has summitted, but not recently.

As it stands now, there is quite a bit of winter snowpack on the ground, particularly between 3000 and 8000 feet. Climbers are also showing a lot of preseason interest in Liberty Ridge.

With all the snow, we're hoping for a good spring ski/board/tour season.
